Taboga was discovered by the early Spanish explorers 1513 not long after the Columbus discovery in 1492. It has a rich and diverse history.

Taboga is the one of seven islands only a 25 minute fast ferry ride form Panama City. Day visitors come to Taboga all year to enjoy the islands beaches, warm clear ocean, the pueblos homes and oldest living Catholic Church (1524) in all of the Americas.
