Day 1: Arriving in Panama City
When you get to the airport we will meet you at the gate giving you the best service.
Day 2: Jungle Boat Tour
Your family will embark on an exciting Jungle boat tour in Gatun Lake. You board the boat through the Panama Canal and explore the jungle islands in Gatun Lake. Your chances of seeing ships in transit are good as they take anywhere from 8 to 10 hours to pass through the Panama Canal. We will take you up close to the islands where you may spot a White Faced Monkey or perhaps even a Titi Monkey. Lunch is served picnic style in the middle of the Panama Canal.
Day 3: The Incredible Canopy Adventure
The Canopy adventure is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Originally a technology pioneered by our indigenous people it was later perfected by scientists looking to study a larger area of the forest. Climbing gear, ladders and rafters were rigged on to the trees, very large trees. Cables made of super strong steel were attached from tree to tree. A harness is attached to both you and the cable and away you go. This started out as a way for scientists to study the biodiversity of the area and has since become a popular extreme sport for fearless riders. These platforms are 100 feet high and 450 feet apart and is sure to get your heart pounding.
Day 4: Tubing on the River
The Rio Pacora is a class I-II (difficulty rating). Your family will thoroughly enjoy this whitewater adventure. We will pick you up in Panama City in a private air-conditioned bus and take you to the site. An expert bilingual guide will set you up with life jackets and safety gear and prepare you for your first whitewater tubing experience. You’ll have a great time tubing down the Rio Pacora in the exciting whitewater rapids. After your adventure you can relax and have lunch at the River Center Paradise.
Day 5 & 6 : Rest and Relax
Have a nice easy day on the beach in Playa Blanca. With all the services and amenities you may need coupled with sporting activities and sandy beaches, you are sure to enjoy a pleasant stay at Playa Blanca.
Day 7: A Leisure Day
Take a day to sleep in and rest. Maybe rent a kayak if you’ve already rested and need something to do. Or perhaps just lounge by the pool before you and your family head back to Panama City.
Day 8: Departure
Be sure to arrive at the airport two full hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
